Interrogated by a parent?

I was about to chat with Nad after half an hour of trying to get her iSight AV to work. (Note to aMSN: You guys should really fix that nasty webcam issue man. I don’t see why it shouldn’t be a working standard feature.).

And then, barely a minute of resigning to the fact that aMSN just can’t work well with webcams, and deciding to skype each other, the dad (not mine), popped up, and I froze… for a good 5 seconds before I snapped out of it and tried to hide myself.

So I clicked on the off webcam button, but you know what? My chat was still alive! Oh yeah, I should have put it on hold! Or even end the chat!! But nooooo, Hazrul’s brain decided to cease functioning for a good 10 minutes, and then the dreaded interrogation happened.

Nad giggled by the corner, coz her webcam was still active and I could see her trying very hard to keep herself composed. I was trying my best to put on a straight face as well. But thank God, the webcam was off. Coz I don’t think I was at my best groom, and I do not want the dad to look at me like that.

Anyway, he asked why I kept calling her and then told me that he doesn’t want us to be more than friends for now. I just OK’d everything, coz frankly, I didn’t know what else to say and the fact that Nad told me not to get into a fight with dad. Coz if I was composed enough, I would have talked to him a lot longer rather than a brief 2 minutes being told off like that.
