Google Maps and Singapore Public Transport data finally liberated.

Following up on news in the twittersphere about Singapore public transport data finally available on Google Maps, I decided to try it out for myself on the iPhone.

There’s no upgrade necessary. It just works. It seems to work for both Sbs Transit and Smrt buses, but it doesn’t show you options to choose between 2 competing services. It seems to only choose the fastest route.

Finally, Singapore’s liberation of public data is on the right path.
